    No Spin or Hidden Agendas

So much coverage of current events these days is either extremely slanted or quickly written link bait. But this publication goes behind the headlines in a straightforward manner. It doesn't mix news reporting with opinions. And the opinion pieces represent diverse viewpoints and writers instead of taking a consistently liberal or conservative outlook. This is the news magazine for those of us who want news and insights without either the Fox News bias or East Coast liberal snark. There are also some well researched "News You Can Use" articles, just like the old U.S. News and World Report magazine.

    I'm pleased....

with the format of US News Weekly. Engaging. Balanced. Affordable. Great on my Nook Simple Touch. And no pile of magazines in my condo--bonus!

    Default font size is readable

Easy to maneuver. Easy to read. Easy to skim. Four stars out of five only because pagination and highlighting aren't available. Occasionally, I would like to quote my source for an interesting fact or figure. For example, where does the U.S. rank in infant mortality?

    A Liberal Bore

What a waste. Just report and keep the bias to yourself.

Feb 8th issue is broken on Simple Touch

The Feb 8th issue was not published/formatted correctly and will only display the last article of this issue when viewed on the Nook Simple Touch. Find an Android device and you can read the whole issue there

    Good for news, but...

Editors and columnists too liberal and to the left for me...
