    Everything Arthur says about the voice feels right when I try his exercises. I am so far only into the first three
     chapters, but all of it correlates closely with the best  of Dr. John Diamond, Touch for Health by DR. John Thie,
     and the One Brain System of Three in One Concepts by Gordon Stokes and Daniel Whiteside, spiritually guided by
     Candace Callaway.
    I am a rank (very rank) amateur singer, with only a civil engineering degree to assisst me in understanding the
     human voice and anatomy.
    I particularly like the layout of the book that leads one on an elliptical learning curve through the different
    facets of breath, diction, projection, and especially the consonants, which my other teachers have not
    fully addressed. Since reading this text and beginning the exercises, I have a glimmer of hope that at age of 80,
     I may dare solo performance someday.

    An Orchestra of One

    Arthur Lessac had taken the various aspects of voice production and created a method of studying the voice that is easy to understand and execute. Study and Practice are necessary to grasp the relaxed sublity of what Lessac is proposing. Each vowel,consonant or sound effect a musical instrument to be felt by the vocalist. When all instruments are played naturally and easily, rich, resonant, and beautifully articulate speech and singing freely happens. For speakers, singers, and anyone wishing to improve their voice, this is a must have--must use educational tool.
