More About This Book

Overview

From USA Today bestselling author, CD Reiss, the follow up to her Bend Anthology story, KICK.

I thought of Deacon, my master, the one who had helped me function, and who I had betrayed. Maybe one day I’d remember the sticky web of circumstances that put us both in the stables, but did it matter? In the end, did I stab him to be free of him?

And free to what?
To whore? Snort? Party?
Or free to be normal?

Wow, I am so hooked on this series. It's so freaking good, I absolutely love it. This story is so raw , dirty and all consuming. I love Fiona, she's such a mess and so flawed but so real and honest. My heart breaks for her. The way the book ended, dear lord, I'm gonna go crazy waiting for the next one. Elliot and Deacon, my gosh, can't wait to see what Fiona does. Did I mention that I freakin love this series? Cd Reiss rocks this genre.

C.D. Reiss writes stories that are unique and a little on the dark side. She writes stories that are raw, edgy, and unpredictable which is exactly what Use is. Ms. Reiss has the ability to grab hold of her readers from the very first page and holds on to them to the very end while keeping them on a roller coaster of emotions the whole time. Her readers experience the journey of her characters right along with them.

Use is a twisted, delicious, very intriguing, super sexy story with lots of emotion that will keep you on the edge till the very end. And even then you are left with wanting more. This book has it all... drama, angst, regret, forgiveness, guilt, tension, pain, pleasure, lust, and passion.

Another incredible novella by C.D. Reiss.  This offering is the second in the Songs of Perdition series.  The research and detail that goes into her writing makes her stories more vivid and
    realistic.

Use is raw and edgy.  Flashbacks, hypnosis and returned memories are very interesting tools for telling this tale.
The pace of the book is hot, and at times I felt as embroiled in the frenetic emotions of the Westonwood patients
    as they were.

I loved how masterfully C.D. Reiss weaves in details of her other books into each of her stories about the large
and obscenely wealthy Drazen family.   The Songs of Perdition series takes place (or at least starts off) about
sixteen years prior to the Songs of Submission series, while the Songs of Corruption series takes place
concurrent to the Songs of Submission series.  In each series, various Drazen family members have roles, and
each of the series has beamed the spotlight on one of the siblings.

The Songs of Perdition series can be a tough read.  Fiona is a white-hot mess.  Her emotional baggage is
weighing her down and the tide is rising.  Her vulnerability and her inner spirit make her attractive to both her hot
psychiatrist and her gorgeous long-time dom/boyfriend.

The intricate details of Fiona's story and layers of her personality are deftly peeled away with C.D. Reiss'
    intricately detailed storytelling.

I loved this book and the continuance of Fiona's story. I think she finally has some clarification of how she wants to go forth with her life and then the ending happens and I'm not so sure. I can't wait to get more of her story.

Also in USE, we get to see more of Jonathan/Rachel's story and some questions are answered about them and their relationship.

It was good to see some of Jonathan at sixteen and to see what brought on his "control".
