This is the new edition of a reference for clinicians who must utilize assessment instruments to provide outcome measurements to payees and patients (the date of the first edition is not stated). Eight contributions in the first section discuss general considerations, including guidelines for selecting instruments, design and implementation of an outcomes management system, and selection of statistical procedures for analysis of individual patient and group data. The bulk of the book (36 chapters) deals with specific instruments for children and adolescents and for adults<-->thoroughly describing the use and interpretation of each test.
