I had the chance to review this book this past week. Personally, I have the NOOK G3/Wi-Fi so I concentrated so my review is of the NOOK section. I really loved the way the book is written in a friendly and easy to understand format. The humor about the hardest part of using the NOOK was so true and brought back the memory of my NOOK arriving for the firs time. The tip about needed a credit card was excellent to include. I have had more than one person see me with my NOOK and ask me why they cannot get their account to work and it has always been because they did not include a CC number. This book covers all the ordinary tips and information you would expect from this type of book and that I found out mostly by trail and error. I would have loved to have had this information at my fingertips when I first purchased my NOOK. Since I had my NOOK since February 2010, I did not expect to learn anything new but with the information included on using the NOOK with Calibre and after market add-ons such as fun skins I learned some new things as well. I only found a couple of tips that were not accurate at that might have been due to the software version the writers were using. The two I found were deleting can now been done through My Documents and you can look up a word by typing it in instead of having to scroll through the page to highlight the word. Overall, this was a great tip book full of practical as well as fun information. It was easy to read and understand and I highly recommend it for new NOOK users as well as veteran users who might want to learn a new thing or two.

This book has all the same info as the manual that you get with your nook or nookcolor, but it puts it in a easier format to understand and gives a clearer understanding and picture of what to do or how set things up. It is a good idea to get it if the manul is confusing to you, but not if you undersrand the manul just fine.

I found the information useful and straightfoward. I would recommend this for technically challenged Nookie newbies. I already had figured out a lot of things on my own, but I also learned many new things which I think will come in handy. Search option aside, I think an index would be helpful. I also noticed that the section on using annotations was missing.
