I can't believe I actually read this whole thing. Even more, I can't believe it was ever published. I thought I'd like the concept of Norman Osborn putting together a Dark X-Men team, but the writing and execution in this story was just terrible. I've been catching up on several Marvel graphic novels on my new Nook Tablet, and they've been getting better and better. Secret Invasion (pretty good), Civil War (better than expected), New Avengers: The Sentry (interesting), Dark Avengers: Assemble (really good, even if a less satisfying take on the original Thunderbolts storyline), and had just finished the Seige collection (which is fantastic!), so I thought I was on a roll. Hungry for more, I jumped on Utopia. What mistake. This gives the appearance of a major crossover, but it's a dreadful story with lame action and tons of unnecessary characters and plot points that are never fully explored. Avoid this.

I love comics and hate krinkled pages, and the bulk of my collection. Problem eliminated with Nook! Need I say more? I suppose I could sum up any further comment with "Excelsior!"

Great read. Cyclops has been becoming a beast recently. This is a pretty good story. I love having the graphic novels on nook.

Pretty good, but the writing was a no-go for me. Four stars.
