From the Publisher

Praise for TombQuest Book 1: Book of the Dead:

A New York Times Bestselling novel

"Like a preteen Indiana Jones and Lara Croft, Alex and Ren make a compelling duo, and Northrop balances pathos and action effectively to engage readers. Funny and smart, Alex and Ren are excellent companions for this fast-paced and scorpion-filled ride."-- Kirkus Reviews

"A thrilling adventure rich in Egyptian mythology and magic. . . . Sure to be a blockbuster." -- Booklist

“Nonstop action . . . reluctant readers will enjoy the fast-paced story and the accompanying interactive computer game, and they will look forward to future installments.” -- Voice of Youth Advocates
"The plot moves quickly and will appeal to reluctant readers looking for adventure [and] danger." -- School Library Journal

Children's Literature - Tina Chan
This third book in the “Tombquest” series has best friends Alex and Ren, and Alex’s cousin Luke, on a journey in the Egyptian desert. Their mission is to find for the Lost Spells in order to stop the Death Walkers. Alex also wants to find his mother, an archaeologist who mysteriously disappeared. Every time the trio thinks they get closer to finding the Lost Spells, they narrowly escape The Order. The Order somehow always knows where they are. The trio’s suspicions are confirmed when they discover the identity of the spy. They also discover one of the Death Walkers in disguise. Although the characters in the book do not discover the Lost Spells, the fourth book in the “Tombquest” series will continue the adventure. This book is filled with action and adventure that will leave readers wanting to read the rest of the series. Readers do not need to read the two previous books, although it would be helpful to understand the context of the story. Readers can join the adventure by playing the “Tombquest” game. Directions in the book include a website address and code to play. Playing the game is a fantastic way for readers to be part of the story. Reviewer: Tina Chan; Ages 8 to 12.

Each book is basically the exact same with maybe one acception! Come on, Northrop! Why, since you're such a good author, do you write dumb things?
