All royalties from this book will be donated to Awaken Mozambique. Awaken Mozambique is a micro-funding program to create employment for people in Beira, Mozambique – one of the ten poorest countries in the world. The Awaken Mozambique project is about sustainable development over the long term. In Beira, there is virtually no employment. Beira has one of the biggest slums in Africa. The population is the same as Australia’s, and yet over half (i.e. 11 million people) live on less than a dollar a day and fewer than 10% of children complete high school.
