Our Plain Jane vampire assasin starts off in action, showing us her current life in vivid detail. The assignment is to kill an adulterer, and this leads our narrator to take us down the rabbit hole of her making and the love she shared with her Maker. Some interesting additions to vampire lore, and I loved the voice of Jane.

Its hard to rate some books. This one starts talking about this guy Bob what he looks like and talking to his misstress and it would take him an hour to get home.
Then she describes how fast vampires can walk. Then follow into his garage and kills him and how and why. I really did not like much of the first part of story.
But then she talks more about her life and when she met her co-worker on a film and they fell for each other. The rest of story got me caring about Jane and Steven.
I ended up shedding tears I was into the story. I would read more about Jane and see how much I liked that book if their is a next one.
I was given this ebook in exchange for honest review.

i found my self becoming angry, sad, happy and all the other emotions right along with the heroine. i am already planning to read it again just in case i missed anything and i can't WAIT fot the next book in the series if there is one so i can find out what happens with them next not to mention some of the other characters that have their own stories to tell.

This book started out great, but then fell flat for me. It's about a vampire, Jane who is an assasin, the story starts off with a job, then goes back to how she became a vampire. I liked how Ms. Warren explains that not all vampires are "pale" and has her own vampire lore. What gets confusing is she describes the character as a "plain" Jane, but then this "plain", average Jane meets her vampire man as the main actress in a B movie. Then the life of Steve & Jane is just over the top, of course he is rich, they jet set all over and get weird little jobs. It was like reading a bad romance novel. Here I was hoping with her new rules for vampire lore this was gonna be interesting. By the end it was just another typical romance novel. I think most people will like it, it wasn't for me.
