3.75 stars worth reading (especially stories 1 & 4)... Total Pages: 660; Story Pages: 607 "Lost" by Lori Devoti: A woman is rescued by a vampire after she and her friends crash their car (her friends aren't rescued). It was good enough I have already bought the other two books in the series, which I will be reading very soon. 2nd story: Vampires/vampire hunters, possibly in the 1800's. Told from the point-of-view of the female vampire hunter. It was just okay. 3rd story: Vampires/vampire hunters. Told from the point-of-view of the female vampire. It was just an okay read. "Kismet Knight, Vampire Psychologist" by Lynda Hilburn: A vampire therapist, what a cool idea for a story. Was very well written. Have already bought the rest of the series so I can read more of the story. 5th story: An old-time vampire who didn't keep up with the times meets his mate. Kinda drab. The characters were kinda boring and a little lame. Was the worst story out all 5 in this book.

Of actual books, not necessarily short stories... the writing is fine, but I am annoyed by the tactic.

Great way to get a "taste" of the author's work. "Vampire Assassin" was my favorite.
