Vampire Gehenna, the Final Night, Time of Judgement, Part 1 based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
This was a well written book. The jumping between plots was done in such a way as to not be confusing. Some of my favorite characters from the past made some appearances, so I was pleased . . . in general. The ending leaves much to be desired . . . you're left wanting a lot more. I basically felt ripped off. The book should have been about 50 more pages and gave me some closure. I mean, this is supposed to be the LAST book, right?
Although I liked the pace of the book and the style of writing, it did very little to tell you what happens to the vampires after/during Gehenna, if that is what this really is. This book leaves far to many unanswered questions at the end and gives no insight on how the next 2 books (based on Werewolves and Mages) will have any part in this one. There is a mystery character that makes you wonder about who it is throughout the book, but when I found out...again, I was extremely disappointed because I would have expected, and rightfully so I believe, a very different behavior. I'd suggest waiting for Vampire books that come out after this one to see what really happened. I've read over 40 books by White Wolf based on this Vampire series, and I'd say that this was the most disappointing.
