Overview

Leonardo was kidnapped! How do you kidnap an incredibly powerful, not to mention sexy, nineteen hundred and fifty year old vampire? It took several loonies from a crazed vampire extermination group to do it. They ritually murdered Warren, Leonardo's three hundred year old friend, thus the ghost in this story.

Warren is really very sweet, and very loyal to Leonardo. In fact, they were going to kill Leonardo first, but Warren threw himself in the way. The only problem is…Warren is incredibly horny and has been holding back on a burning case of the hots for me. Once Leonardo was captive, I had to do whatever Warren wanted in order to keep his mind focused on saving Leonardo.

Ordinarily that would not have been an issue with a human ghost. However, vampire ghosts have peculiar abilities such that you can see them and feel them and their protoplasm can take any shape they want. So imagine riding along on a broomstick; over the mountainous terrain of West Virginia; in a pounding storm; with a multi-handed, multi-tongued vampire ghost all over you. Nonetheless, I did what was necessary and Leonardo was saved!

I was so relieved to have Leonardo back safe, and so sorry about what happened to poor Warren. It was very bittersweet our first night in the hotel together after the kidnapping, and I did all I could to show Leonardo how much I truly and deeply love him. I'm glad to say that Leonardo sent Warren off on an errand that got rid of him for a while and left us in glorious, Warren-free privacy.

Warren has agreed to stay on as Leonardo's bodyguard, since he has nothing better to do now that he's a ghost. To show his gratitude, for Warren saving his life, Leonardo saved Warren's skull and keeps it in a place of honor outside his sleeping chamber. Although he's a pest, I'm glad Warren is staying on to guard Leonardo, because this adventure has left more questions than it answered. All we know is there's a crazy group that is tracking vampires and exterminating them. Leonardo and I now have to find out more about them.

I'll be very happy to get back to the Belle Fleur Hotel. I miss the staff there, who are like family to me -- Yondelle the cook, Chimene the maid, Gryffin the hotel ghost and security guard, and good old Gundri the dwarf barkeep and maintenance man. Yondelle and Chimene in particular are going through a lot of romantic problems and need my advice.

I'm a sorceress, scryer, necromancer, high priestess, and rootwytch. I also run the Belle Fleur Hotel and Café Karma. The work is very challenging, especially with our diverse and peculiar clientele, but I try to keep the atmosphere peaceful and all the guests comfortable. Somehow in the madness, my best inspirations come from my work. I hope you enjoy the story. More to come!

Meet the Author

My name is Lila Lovecraft. I'm a sorceress, scryer, necromancer, high priestess, and rootwytch. My knowledge of magick and the occult comes from long experience and training, though I must admit that some of my talent is hereditary.

I also write fiction. I favor erotic romance mixed with bits of paranormal lore, mystery, horror, fantasy, science fiction, fairy tales, folktales, mythology, dreams, and gothic fiction. I hope you enjoy my stories, and if you do, a review is most appreciated.

I own and run the old Belle Fleur Hotel for my paranormal clientele. Next door I also own the modern Café Karma, which is open to both human and paranormal patrons. This leads to many interesting situations that inspire my fiction.

Thank you for your support and for stopping by. My website is: http://LilaLovecraft.com
