Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Ready to face the dawn and die after 11,000 years as a vampire, Daniel walks into the Reflecting Pool on the Washington Mall and ends up in Atlantis, at the mercy of Serai, a long-dead warrior princess he could never forget. Yet Serai is not dead. Centuries earlier she and several others had been magically put into suspended animation to ensure the continuation of the Atlanteans. But the magical jewel that keeps them safe has been stolen, and, now awake, Serai must find it to save the other sleeping women. Together, Daniel and Serai search for the stone and renew their relationship, stalked by an evil that isn't about to let them succeed. VERDICT Funny, sexy, and vastly creative, this swiftly moving romance gives new meaning to the phrase undying love and adds another sparkler to the author's growing string of Atlantean gems. Day (Atlantis Betrayed) currently lives in Japan.

    Alyssa keeps me giggling

Between Daniel, Serai & Quinn...I couldn't stop smiling. Daniel and his over-protectivness of Serai. Serai and her first taste of cake in 1000 years, and Quinn for putting up with both of them. LOL Alyssa's characters are so much fun. The bantering, the steamy love scenes, tons of action and adventure and mayhem...all make for another glorious trip to Atlantis that I didn't want to end. Thank goodness I can read it twice! I love all the places you take me, AD! Alaric's story next has got me all kinds of quirky excited, too!!!! Finally <3

The eighth Warriors of Poseidon romantic fantasy is a fabulous entry

Eleven millennia ago when Atlantis sunk beneath the sea, Daniel's life figuratively ended with the death of his beloved Serai. Now the vampiric Night Guild mage is mentally wary and can no longer continue his existence after centuries of fighting his own kind and other evils on the side of the Warriors of Poseidon. He plans to die.

However, he is unaware that the leaders lied to him all those thousands of years ago. Instead to save the race, Serai and other chosen maidens were placed in voluntary stasis controlled by the Emperor jewel. The powerful gem was stolen and malevolent beings are deploying it. The jewel's power awakens Serai who encounters her Daniel. Together, they must delay their reunion to recover the Emperor and save the other maidens.

The eighth Warriors of Poseidon romantic fantasy (see Atlantis Betrayed, Atlantis Redeemed and Atlantis Unmasked) is a fabulous entry that focuses as much on recapturing the jewel and freeing the maidens as it does the second chance at love between Daniel and Serai. The fast-paced story line contains a strong support cast and is loaded with action, but the tale belongs to the lead couple as they have thousands of years of separation that almost led to a Romeo and Juliet tragedy yet still somewhat delay their bedding for camping as they do what is best for their people.

    Enjoyable romance

Alyssa Day takes the reader on a vampire/Atlantian adventure. Novel is well written. Most readers of her work will enjoy this novel. If you have never read her work, then start with book one, otherwise this book will be a little off to follow. You'll need to start with the first novel in this series in order to properly follow the plot and actions going on around these two characters who after 11,000 years find each other again and bond for all eternity. A enjoyable read for 18 and up. Not to much sexual content to really classify it as a smut book. Overall a good romance novel written well and enjoyable to read. ~A.S. Johnson, author.

    Excellent Read!

Wow, I am in total Awe because I didn't know what to expect from Daniel (mage vampire) and Serai (Atlantean Princess) story in the beginning but man was I surprised at how the story swept me away with each characters circumstances and desperations. This was truly an amazing story as it had me almost to tears in the end going from sadness to happy smiling overjoy. Of course the erotic scenes were hot and the connection and action between all the characters was perfect.

I love all these Warriors of Poseidon's and how all their women are just as strong willed and determined and not afraid to kick ass. And let's not forget about Poseidon the Sea God, I love it when he shows up in the end and makes his mark on the story. Now I can hardly wait for the next book Heart of Atlantis (Alaric and Quinn's story).
