Take a road trip with the undead . . . in this latest in the Argeneau series by New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands

For Basha Argeneau, anything is better than facing her estranged family. Even hiding out in sweltering southern California. But when a sexy immortal in black shows up determined to bring her back to the clan, she'll do anything to keep far, far away from the past she can't outrun.

Marcus Notte isn't here to play games—especially not with someone as crazy as the infamous blonde. Asked by Lucian Argeneau to bring her back for questioning, Marcus is determined to carry out Lucian's request—no matter how the seductive little mind-reading vamp feels about it.

Basha doesn't mind fighting fire with fire, especially with a hot immortal involved. But if he wants to take her away, he'll have to catch her first . . .

Sands' (One Lucky Vampire, 2013, etc.) newest Argeneau Vampire novel follows Basha, who has lived on the fringes of society, trying to avoid the powerful family searching for her while unwittingly setting up a showdown between the child she raised as her own and her newfound life mate. Basha has sought to live her centuries-spanning life in the shadows, safe from powerful men she can't trust. Lost at birth and kidnapped as a child, Basha endured every kind of torture, then sought freedom in the life of a wanderer, constantly reinventing herself in order to maintain her independence and protect her only child. But in hiding for all of her adult life, most recently in a circus as a fortuneteller known as Divine, Basha has clearly missed some vital information and has perhaps created ties with enemies of the Argeneau family. Someone is acting brutally against humans, and Marcus Notte is sent to find Basha, the beloved long-lost niece of Lucian Argeneau. But in the centuries since anyone has seen her, has she truly become attached to a gang of rogue murderers? Marcus can't deny that Basha is hiding something, but every instinct tells him she's a nurturer. Unfortunately, he's also pretty sure she's his life mate, complicating his feelings toward her as well as his investigation into what she's been up to. This latest episode of Sands' highly popular Argeneau Vampire series fleshes out the ancient history of the superhumans from Atlantis and pits two drifting souls against each other, seemingly keeping their happily-ever-after out of reach. A little trust, a little blistering attraction and a few scrapes they'll have to survive with each other's help just might put them on the path to lifelong delight. Sands easily holds the reader's attention with the right mix of sexual tension and romantic misunderstanding plus a clever, engaging overarching history that offers an intriguing backbone to the series. Sexy and captivating, mingling darkness and humor.

I love all Ms Sands books. This one is no exception. The ONLY reason this isn't getting 5 stars is that the book ended in the middle of a scene and the plot was not concluded. What is up with that?

Dull.  Slow.  Abrupt, forgettable ending.  I pre-ordered this book and have read all in the series.  Very disappointed

Great book as always but MAN never been so dissapointed at one of the endings of her books, dont get me wrong it was a happy ending but ended SO FAST took me completely off guard. It completely left me hanging... what about the carnie family...what about so and so... WAY too many issues left open, it almost felt like she didnt feel like writing about the rest and just ended it super quick on a happy note... I really hope we see a conclusion in another of her upcoming books, Im sure we will. Aside from that abrupt ending it was a great book. Definitely worth the read, it was so funny and the chemistry was great between the two. Poor Marcus had a rough go of it. Lol.

I was looking forward to more "activities" however I understand why there weren't given the main characters prev history. Also lots of detail were left out and it ended abruptly. Hopefully my questions will be answered next book! B!

Vampire Most Wanted by Lynsay Sands Argeneau Vampire Series Book Twenty Madame Divine was much more than what she seemed to be. The woman hiding behind the gypsy wardrobe at the carnival was really Basha Argeneau. A very old immortal who had been hiding from her uncle Lucian for over two thousand years. She had to protect not only herself but her son as well. Marcus Notte had always had someone to take care of. To watch after. Now that his charges were grown and united with their life mates, he was at loose ends. That  was the reason he took the job to help Lucian Argeneau find a rogue immortal. Once Marcus found the rogue, he could only hope that she wasn't the woman they thought her to be. Basha might be over twenty-five hundred years old, but she's a bit behind on her history. Her story was so good and I have a feeling we'll be seeing her in a future story. Vincent and Jackie from A Bite to Remember and Tiny and Maribeau from Vampire Valentine make their appearances in this story. I always love seeing the past characters. **Sexual content

Love this series! Marcus is such a nobel guy. Watching the backs of his uncle and cousin for hundreds of years. I'm glad he finds his lifemate. Lucian is such a lovable grouch. Deep down he just wants to protect his family. Can't wait to find out lucians twins names. This was a great book with twists.

Lynsay Sands’ “Vampire Most Wanted” is the 20th book in her Argeneau Series, and I stayed up all night binge reading it last night. The plot and characters are great again. Sands always makes up great new plot elements, so even though there have been so many books in the series, it doesn’t feel repetitive. Each story of how the lifemates come together and were made for each other is different and special. My one complaint is that there wasn’t enough hot lifemate sex in this one. I could have stood some sexy lifemate erotic dreams and about 6 more hot sex scenes. Overall though, pretty good and I couldn’t put it down because it had great characters and a great flow.

I liked it. Lynsay, is not one of those writers whose books I run out to get, but it is a nice read. The storylines are pretty similar, and I rarely am surprised by the story beginning, middle or ending.

Loved this book!  Not only did it have it contain the with and steaminess that have become a trademark of the series but it has a slightly dark edge to it.  It ended much too soon because I really want to know where Basha goes from here.  Can't wait for the next book to see how her story plays out.
