    Extremely hardcore BDSM

If you are not into BDSM, truly into it, it's not for you. I don't suggest that you pick up this book unless you are not squeamish and you enjoy extremely hardcore BDSM and senseless violence. I have to say that this book was difficult to for me to read. Jacob struggle against becoming not much more than an obedient dog capable of performing complex tricks and providing sexual pleasure when Lady Lyssa demands. It also bothered me that rape was considered a spectator sport serving to arouse the watchers and physical torture, such as broken bones and the like, was something utilized as easily as a hanky for no other purpose than proving who held the power.

    Gross

I'm a fan of adult novels. I've read a lot of them through out my adult life and enjoyed them all in the end even if it started of slow but this book is not my favorite. In fact, I don't think I will ever buy another book from this author. The whole story was disgusting. I did not like Lyssa's personality at all and the way she treats Jacob like some sex toy is enough to make me want to throw up. His character for a male was completely weak. They way he keeps running back to her after all the torturing she puts him through just makes me sick. He's completely stupid! I mean, I read some novels where the writer makes the heroine tough and strong minded to the point where it gets irritating but at least she becomes a likable character at some point in the story but this Lyssa character was awful to the end. Just my personal opinion. Please don't be offended if you're a Joey Hill fan but I'll never buy another one of her books. This was my first book from her and my first impression of her style of writing. I don't like it at all.

    sexually exciting

If you are looking for a book full of explicit sex with some graphic violence and a descent plot then you've found a winner! Parts were a little cheesy but not enough to stop me from reading. Awaiting the second book to arrive in the mail.

This series is sooo good! When I first started this book I wanted to give it away, dump it in the local thrift store, or donate it to my local library...I just wanted to get rid of it... I could barley get into it...So much erotica, and I am not a hugh fan of that... But.... OMG, get pass that and you will be thrilled to have read this. What a treat!

    OMG!

You have to wait till the end of this book and the beginning of the next book and you will be so happy! You will fall in love with this series ...At least I did. I cant wait to read it again...this series (Vampire Queen and Vampire Servant) is awesome!

    Very Disappointing!

Yuck! I love Vampire/Paranormal Erotica, but these vampires are awful! No redeeming qualities whatsoever. I love tortured heroes/heroines, but in this book the heroine is just cruel.

A VAMPIRE MASTER YOU’LL FALL IN LOVE WITH!!
Jessica Tyson’s happy life is abruptly ended when she is kidnapped and thrown into the violent world of Vampires. Brutally tortured for 5 years, she has lost all hope. Twice marked as a servant by her cruel Master, she clings to her humanity through the tales she reads in a 300 year old diary. The tragic love story of the Arabic beauty Farida and the man she loves Lord Mason are Jessica’s only escape from the horrors she endures. The sudden opportunity to kill her cruel Master before he can complete the 3rd mark frees Jessica, but heads her toward imminent death. Her only wish before she dies is to visit the secret tomb Lord Mason has made for his beloved Farida. After a long journey with 3 traveling guides, she finds her way into the tomb. She’s prepared to die at Farida’s side only to be thwarted by her traveling companions desire to rob the many riches they find there. The robbers are stopped by none other than Lord Mason himself. At that moment, Jessica realizes the man she has come to know and love through the pages of Farida’s diary is himself a Vampire. Heartbroken, she crumbles under this latest torment and falls unconscious near death. But what Jessica doesn’t realize is that although Lord Mason is a Vampire, he is also everything Farida said about the man she loved. Intrigued by her, and guided by compassion Lord Mason brings Jessica to his home. When he learns the truth behind what caused her Master’s death he marks her as one of his own and sets out to help her regain the life that was stolen from her. Consumed by his own guilt over his role in his beloved Farida’s death, with patience and tenderness Lord Mason teaches Jessica that trust IS possible, and Dominance and submission can be the key to finding your heart’s desire…for them both.
Book 4 in the Vampire Queen series. This story is so beautifully written. The characters are richly drawn and their struggle to find Love again is the thread that ties this story together. Erotic and deeply sensual, the attraction between Jessica and Lord Mason is palpable. As we watch Jessica struggle to overcome her memories of the horrific BDSM sexual games her former Master subjected her to, Lord Mason shows her what those same sexual games can be when done for their shared pleasure. We get to see other familiar characters from this series. Lady Lyssa and her servant Jacob (book 1, 2 & 8) along with Lady Daniela and her servant Devlin (book 3) show up to help Mason show Jessica what the right type of Master/Mistress/servant relationship can be when submission is willingly given. Joey W Hill is the BEST when writing erotic BDSM relationships and these beautiful preternatural predators!!

This is a darkly sensual and intensely erotic introduction to the world of Joey W. Hill’s Vampire Queen series now numbering 9. It starts off with an introduction to the last remaining Vampire Queen Lady Elyssa Yamato Amaterasu Wentworth and her new servant former vampire hunter Jacob Green. This is an incredible world with sex, politics, Vampires and Fae. Nobody can get you into the mindset of her characters quite like Joey W. Hill. And because I’ve read this one I now have to go re-read the next installment The Mark of the Vampire Queen

Harsh femdom BDSM with deep, complex emotional characterizations

Harsh femdom BDSM with deep, complex emotional characterizations. Powerful romance (surprising under the circumstances unless you're familiar with Joey W. Hill's writing). Tension maintained in spite of slow forward movement in regard to plot. Jacob is a wonderful hero--an alpha male who will submit only to Lyssa. This is part one of a two-part story in the series. So while there is some satisfaction, the story is far from complete. The rest of the story is told in "The Mark of the Vampire Queen."

The Vampire Queen's Servant by Joey .W. Hill is book one in her 'Vampire Queen Series', it's certainly not for the faint of heart or if you are used to something a little more tame and vanilla. This book delves into BDSM and D/s all the way. Jacob is one of those sexy Alpha men that has you drooling, nothing about him says submissive but when he sees Lady Lyssa he wants her, he learns her ways, how to look after her, be her servant. This was a terrific read just like the rest of the Vampire series it will not let you down I just wished I could give it a better rating then a 5 star.

    The Vampire Queen's Servant

Synopsis: Lady Elyssa Yamato Amaterasu Wentworth is a centuries-old vampire who's been given a new servant-Jacob, a total alpha male unaccustomed to submitting to any woman's wishes. What really binds Jacob to her are not her sensual midnight hungers, but something far more provocative. It stirs her blood, renews her life, and awakens her soul like only true love can. The passion between Elyssa and Jacob yields something else unexpected -- a shared history that reaches back through the centuries and is fated to challenge their destiny like nothing ever will again.

The Vampire Queen’s Servant, written by Joey W. Hill, is a beautiful story of a Vampire Queen who has lived a very long life and suffered love, violence, and loss, only to have love find her again. At first, I was leery to read this story because of its graphic content of bondage, discipline, sadism & masochism. I’ve never understood why people would submit themselves to BDSM, but I know that some find it very erotic and fascinating. This book brought me to a new level of understanding. The draw that Lady Lyssa and Jacob have in this story is definitely worth reading!

Ms. Hill holds a fantastic writing skill. Her ability to write such detail so easily, and also write in such an understandable way, made reading this book a fast read and very addictive. By the time I finished reading this love story, I had to get the next in the series.

During my reading, I kept wondering where we were going next. I tried to understand how they each seemed to be drawn to each other. What bound (no pun intended) them together and kept them coming back for more. My biggest question was, if this man, Jacob wanted to be Lady Lyssa’s servant, why did he fight being submissive. My theory was, he wanted to be her lover and perhaps his way of getting into her presence to prove himself, was to take on the role of her servant. I can only hope as I continue reading that I will learn much more of Jacob’s motives.

Excellent book! I would recommend this book, but understand, this book is graphic albeit, very well and tastefully written.

    Excellent

I enjoyed this book and this series very much. If your not into erotica or anything along those lines then do not read this series. If you do not like Lady Lyssa in this book, you have to finish the story of these two in the next. Finally, you cannot really rate a book if you have not finished it. So for those who started and did not finish, keep going. I promise you will not be disappointed.

    Was ok.

I did not personally enjoy this book. I managed to make myself read it through to the end hoping it would get better and better. It just did not do it for me. Don't think I will get the next book in the series either. Sorry...just wasn't for me and I love the vampire romance erotica books too. I was sad at how much it cost for an ebook as well.

I love this series. It is really not for anyone who does not enjoy BDSM or reading it. the vampires in this series treat humans comparable to the way humans treat their pets. Some humans are more cruel to their pets than others. The same with the characters in this series. I have read all 8 books in this series so far and I enjoy the total kinkyness of them. You might think I'm some wierd pervert guy. Not at all, I'm a 56 yr. old grandmother working in a cccounting firm and I'm Wiccan.
