With her latest sizzling release, Vampire, Vampire, New York Times and USA Today bestselling paranormal romance author Heather Killough-Walden shares two scorchingly hot, sweet and savage stand-alone vampire romance novellas.
(Total word count approx. 70,000 words)

In Thorn and Grace, an old tale of historical romance is given a very dark make-over. The story of knight meets maiden becomes twisted and shadowed, be-fanged and fallen. A prince turned predator hunts for the one who has betrayed him, in turn becoming a king corrupted by the bitterness within. Will the one he is hunting escape him? And if she doesn't, will she be able to reach the man inside the monster before it's too late?

In Relentless: The Patrick Sinclaire Story, readers are treated to the border-line erotic telling of the tale of a handsome, world-weary vampire sovereign and the woman he would literally do anything to claim as his queen. Intensely arousing, stimulating, and both emotionally and physically provoking - this is not a story for the shy. This is a get-hot-under-the-sheets story. Don't read it if you're expecting an epic development of an extremely deep and meaningful relationship in less than 80 pages. Do read it, however, if you love vampires, dangerous, dominant men, and sex that will have you reading and re-reading these pages in the middle of the night.

Vampire, Vampire is composed of 2 short stories. The first one Thorn and Grace is a beautiful fairytale about a prince, Christopher Thorn, and a princess, Darianna Grace, who grow up together and fall in love and promise themselves to each other. Christopher and Darianna are from a world where at their maturity they become vampires and live for several hundred years. On the eve of their wedding, Darianna disappears and Christopher goes after her. After traveling through various worlds in search of her, Christopher ends up on the opposing side of Darianna in a world in which rebels, led by Darianna, are trying to overthrow a corrupt government. Once they are reunited they figure out the reason for Darianna’s disappearance and must face a truly malevolent opponent who will stop at nothing to destroy them both. I really enjoyed this story, I loved the characters and I loved their romance. I also really enjoyed the departure from the classic vampire, instead of the typical blood sucking vampires, these ones are a race of people naturally born that way that still drink blood, have the heightened speed and senses but are naturally born this way. I also liked the fantasy nature of it with the different worlds, races, and magic. The second short story is called Relentless: The Patrick Sinclaire Story and it is very different from Thorn and Grace. Relentless takes place in modern times and is narrated in the first person by the “latent” that Patrick Sinclaire so ruthlessly pursues. Patrick is a billionaire vampire king who has been around for centuries leading the vampire alone while searching for his vampire queen. When Patrick finds her she denies her destiny vehemently and fights him every step of the way. This was the shorter of the two stories and I think I would have enjoyed it more if it had been longer with more interaction between the two lead characters. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed this story as well. This story is quite different from Thorn and Grace and is very steamy and erotic, it kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. I highly recommend these stories and anything else from this author!

Vampire, Vampire, contains two short stories. The first one is called Thorn and Grace. Christopher Thorn is an Empyrean King. Darianna Grace is the Princess of Lundarien in a kingdom next to his. They had grown up together, trained together, fell in love and were to be married. Due to extenuating circumstances, Anna fails to arrive for the wedding. Heartbroken, Christopher sets out to find his queen and bring her home no matter what it takes. This story is about their journey. It contains love, betrayal, heroic acts of selflessness, rebellion against heartless leaders and the belief that helping others is more important than anything else. The love between them extends centuries, yet never dies. I loved this story. Although historical in its setting, the story still felt relevant in today’s time. The willingness to go to any length for love is timeless. I loved that both of them were vampires. There is nothing more romantic or intimate than the taking of each other’s blood. It bonds them together almost as closely as the act of sharing each other’s bodies. The second story is called Relentless: The Patrick Sinclaire Story. Patrick Sinclaire is a billionaire and a vampire king in search of his queen. He has found her working at the Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps animals of all kinds. He has been alone for so long searching for a queen and when he finds her, he can barely control himself from taking her. Nothing is going to stop him from making her his own. This is an extremely hot, erotic love story. The passion between Patrick and his queen is so tangible I felt the heat from it. The longing that he feels draws you to him like a fire on a cold night. I absolutely loved this story. The romance is very arousing and passionate. When he bites her, I swear you will feel like it is you he is possessing. Patrick’s passion will dominate you and you will need a long cold shower when you are finished reading this story. I highly recommend this book. Both stories are excellent and both are different. I know you will enjoy it.

Vampire, Vampire is but the latest in a long list of awesome paranormal romance novels from Heather Killough-Walden. When I found this author, I really feel that I found a treasure. I am an avid reader and devour romance, supernatural and otherwise and am used to just accepting mediocre writing for this genre. Until HKW came along that is. She has such a vivid, detailed imagination, sets such hot, sensual scenes, creates characters you want to be AND be with. I have truly loved every one of her books and have bought them on both my Kindle and my Nook. Vampire, Vampire is truly in HKW's tradition of soulmates separated by time and space as well as a hunky evil obstacle or two!!! You will love joining Christopher Thorn and Patrick Sinclair on their journeys to find there queen and will be wishing it was you they were searching for. I highly recommend this and all of HKW's books, she will NEVER disappoint!!!!!

The book is a great escape if you like romance, intrigue, suspense and the thrill of the quest for true love. Vampires may be over run in the media, but I certainly can not complain with these stories. If you like this book. Check out Heather's Big Bad Wolf series and Lost Angels series. This talented writer should not be overlooked. Enjoy.

Once again Heather Killiough Walden has woven a tapestry of intrigue, romance, action, and scorching love scenes. She leaves us guessing until the end about who the heroes and villains really are. Of course there are Vampires and Vampires! Lucky us!! Bonus story at the end is every bit as good as the main story. Don’t miss it!

Heather Killough-Warren is one of those authors whose writing never fails to draw me in to the world she's created. I've become addicted to her writing. Vampire, Vampire gave me a little fix until Death's Angel comes out. One of my favorite reasons for reading her work is the fact that her heroines are capable, independent women who follow their hearts. Although the men they love are incredibly powerful, these women know they can take care of themselves and will do whatever is necessary to protect the ones they love. If you want to lose yourself in a great love story, pick up any one of Heather's books!

Vampire, Vampire consists of two wonderful stories - Thorn & Grace and Relentless. Thorn and Grace is a well told love story with the twists and turns that we've come to expect from HKW while Relentless has a darker, more erotic feel. Both Christopher Thorn and Patrick Sinclaire are sinfully devine vampires who will live in my dreams for some time.

Heather did it again. I swear, she is ruining me for other authors. Her supernatural tales are HOT, intriguing and addicting. I have got to try to find any other time of the day to get some reading in then at bedtime. Her books are not the kind you can easily find a spot and call it a night. You find yourself every 20 pages saying "...at the end of THIS chapter...". Nope. Give it up. You're just not going to get any sleep tonight ( it's totally worth it though ; ). I find my self relating to every character she writes and cheering on even the bad guys. The sex scenes are intense and like all of the rest of her books' climaxes, explosive, lol ; ) Two thumbs up Heather!!! <3
