Overview

Vampires Gone Wild brings together four paranormal romance novellas by Kerrelyn Sparks, Pamela Palmer, Amanda Arista, and Kim Falconer, authors and bloggers at Supernatural Underground.

Kerrelyn Sparks’s demure Pamela and sexy vampire sidekick battle the Malcontents in “V is for Vampwoman.” Kim Falconer’s aqueous San Francisco vampires in “Blood and Water” want nothing from “landers” — unless it’s dinner, but that’s until Stellan meets Angelina. Pamela Palmer carries readers to Vamp City in “A Forever Love” where trapped Lukas pines for his lost love. When she appears, Lukas will fight to keep her alive. It’s been a hundred years since Valiance has dated; all is great until they’re attacked, but quiet Esme will shock Valiance in Amanda Arista’s “First Dates Are from Hell.”

Meet the Author

Kerrelyn Sparks is the bestselling author of the Love at Stake series, which has hit as high as number 5 on the New York Times list and 22 on the USA Today list. Kerrelyn is honored that her band of merry vampires and shifters is spreading love and laughter worldwide in fourteen different languages.

When New York Times bestselling author Pamela Palmer's initial career goal of captaining starships didn't pan out, she turned to engineering, satisfying her desire for adventure with books and daydreams, until finally succumbing to the need to create worlds of her own. Pamela lives and writes in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.

Amanda Arista was born in Illinois, grew up in Corpus Christi, and lives in Dallas, but her heart lies in London. When not writing, she often dreams of co-opening an evil bakery and selling despicable desserts. She spends her weekends writing at coffee shops, practicing for the day that caffeine intake becomes an Olympic sport, and plotting character demises.

Kim Falconer was born in Santa Cruz, California, where she wrote her first story at age five. It was about a Halloween cat! From then on she proceeded to daydream her way through school. Fortunately, she now daydreams for a living on the beautiful Australian coast.

The first author is one I know and have read almost all of her books. This story was way too short, yet interesting. The second author, as listed on front of book, I have enjoyed her other series but I doubt I will read the series this short story relates to. The third author I liked enough to purchase her books. The fourth author I may look at again, get a sample to read on my Nook hd plus and then decide. I think I paid too much for this book.

I am on the last story in this anthology.  Two of the stories left me saying "Really? That's how you decided you would end your tale!!!!!" The last one I hope won't leave me hanging like 2 out of the 3 I've read so far.  I won't be keeping this book.

This is a very good book so far. LOL. I am still reading it. I didn't like the ending of the second story ( Forever Love)though. It should have a happy ending where Lukas and Lizzy stayed together forever. But all in all. It was good.
