These are fantastic! =) This NOT a book but rather 15 postcards with various pictures of old Seattle or people in our history. Each has a story on the back of the people or place. It is fun when the name or the place looks familiar. And the charming little stories they chose to share on them are fun to read for both the sender and receiver. Well worth the money! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Author Clark Humphrey shares his longstanding fascination of local Seattle iconoclasty in this little gem of a book. This book is recommended for anyone interested in a primarily visual history of mid-century to modern Seattle, though after review, and as a relative newcomer to the NW in the last 25 years, I believe that the content will resonate more deeply with someone old enough to remember when Seattle was a small, out of the way place to call home. Although Clark skillfully celebrates the unique cultural artifacts of our past and provides a good visual consistency and creativity to the historical photos chosen, I would like to see this subject treated in more depth in larger scale, 'coffee table' art-book format. Was this review helpful?
