The adaptation to the Nook Color is very well done - the pages are sharp and clear, and the Article View technology is a wonderful (and necessary) enhancement. It is easy to navigate through the magazine. However, feature articles generally have a page or two of numbered photos with captions. These captions are NOT included in the Article View text. If this is corrected in the future I will re-subscribe.

Vanity Fair has the perfect combination of arts, politics, fashion, celebrity gossip, and photography. I'm hooked on the Nook's easy navigation and gorgeous high-resolution photos, unlike anything on the web. Two thumbs up!

I have both a Nook color and the "Nook for PC" app. The magazine says "Can't read this in this App" on the PC and it takes more than a mnute to render a page in the Nook.
Pretty pictures don't cut it. Save you time and buy paper for this use.

I have bee reading Vanity Fair for almost 20 years. I always enjoy the writing and in-depth articles each month. It has been my habit over the years to tote each month's issue with me wherever I go because it is not a quick read like other magazines. Now with the Nook Color I still get to take it with me but in a less bulky package. The digital version is just as satisfying as the magazine in hand.

But somewhere along the way it was decided that pinch and zoom was not acceptable
The recent issues do have a larger font but there is no choice to pinch and zoom - total fail

I don't know why I ever ordered this magazine. Far, far to left leaning for me. Too many ads too

Love the print version. Can't see or bookmark the Nook Color version. Disappointing.

I am very happy with my choice for Vanity Fair as my monthly magazine "newsstand" subscription. I mean, I had thousands to choose from but none of them really appealed to me because they were too shallow. Some focused solely on fashion others on entertainment and others on politics. Vanity Fair, I am very proud to say, focuses on all of the above plus some. Plus, its a THICK magazine. Currently my monthly rate is $1.99 for an issue. What is the cost per issue in store? Like $8.00, maybe more... Last time I checked an individual magazine bought in store was outrageous. HELLO! Gigantic THICK interesting IN-YOUR-FACE magazine. Come on, I chose Vanity Fair; it's just THAT awesome.

The Nook edition is one of the few magazines that has been customised specifically for the Nook, and it looks gorgeous.

While the graphics are crisp and the photo's interesting, the main story was not new. The article on Lady Gaga seemed to be a exact copy of Katie Couric's interview with Gaga on her thanksgiving special this year. It's easier to find more insightful reading online for free, then purchasing this magazine.

Starting with this issue of Vanity Fair Conde Nast with the Vanity Fair app has just set the standard of what a digital magazine should be
Good work - thumbs high up

I really like the formatting that VF is using now (Lady Gaga issue). Horizontally scrolling from the beginning of one article to the next is very convenient, and then vertically scrolling within an article makes sense. The graphics and extras are well-integrated and add to the magazine, instead of just taking up space. I wish I could easily zoom into the beautiful photography (like on NatGeo), but other than that, I think this is a great implementation of a very nice magazine.

This is an excellent transfer of media from print to digital. The layout, photos and text is all here along with the article view to allow easy reading. Even better would be connecting this content with social media and interactive items.
I've always enjoyed Vanity Fair and would recommend the magazine to anyone but would now recommend this format to publishers who want to stay in the game.

It doesn't get better than this - photography is crisp & vivid and Article View makes reading a dream. Instead of past issues overflowing my book shelves, I've now begun a fully digital, completely searchable, archive of my favorite issues -- and the best part? It all fits squarely on my thumb drive. Well done, B&N + Condé Nast!
