If you're comfortable in the kitchen, this is a definite recommend. If you're not comfortable in the kitchen, I'd still recommend but with one caveat: do not be afraid to add more liquid.
Peloza's recipes are delish. I haven't had one stinker so far, and some of the recipes have been easy enough to tweak on the fly with excellent results. For example, my kids loved the addition of peppermint extract to the chocolate chip snowballs. But I have definitely found that I end up adding more wet ingredients because the consistency isn't quite where I expected. I also have found that I have to press the cookies (even when the recipe doesn't call for me to do so) because the cookies don't tend to spread much, even with the added liquid.
I've give this book five stars just because of the wide variety of options and the overall great results, but the issue with consistently dry dough gives me pause. I don't have this problem with Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar or My Sweet Vegan, so I think it's just an issue of how Peloza measures compared to how I measure. No big deal, and certainly not a deal breaker on this book. I'll be baking from it for years to come...just to sample each recipe.

I would like to say that i tried this book, loved it, and highly recommend it, but I can't because the sample that comes with it doesn't include one recipe...why would you try out a cookbook in its digital format without at least looking at one recipe.
