I bought this book looking for fast packed-lunch ideas and strategies. The information about how to pack a lunch is invaluable, but the pictures are inspiring. I've learned that kids will try almost anything as long as it looks good. One drawback to this book is the use of a lot of meat analogues and dairy substitutes which tend to be pricey and/or difficult to find. Otherwise you might have to play with the seasonings after making something for the first time. Overall it's a good book with a lot of ideas.

I'm a vegetarian, not a vegan, but I was intrigued when I saw this book in my store. I'm always looking for good, quick lunches to bring into work, and this book doesn't disappoint. It's got some great recipes and some great ideas to set up a yummy lunch, and most of them don't take very much time at all. One of my favorite sections is the section on sandwich ideas-they've got some great ideas for spreads, and I can finally pack something besides peanut butter and jelly! ^-^

I love it, and all of the recipes that I have tried have come out well so far. The tastes are mainly geared toward children, so the food is not very spicy - I do not have kids, and my husband and I like our food to have a little more flavor, so you may want to add more spices to some recipes. I was a little confused as to how to use it at first - the first part of the book is a list of menus, and the second part has all of the recipes in it. In all, I have really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it. The recipes are easy and delicious, as well as visually pleasing - check out the pictures in the middle of the book. Even though the book is for kids' school lunches, it is good for adults too!

This book has many simple yet useful recipies and it makes a great book for any vegan for ideas on what to cook. Some of the recipies i could never imagine putting in a lunch box, but they taste fantastic. For some recipies, you can add or substitute ingredients to make it more personal. Very nice no matter what age you are!
