Meet the Author

Amazon best-selling author, mom of three, Realtor, beer blogger, brewery marketing expert, and soccer fan, Liz Crowe is a Kentucky native and graduate of the University of Louisville currently living in Ann Arbor. She has decades of experience in sales and fund raising, plus an eight-year stint as a three-continent, ex-pat trailing spouse.

Her early forays into the publishing world led to a groundbreaking fiction hybrid, “Romance. Worth the Risk,” which has gained thousands of fans and followers interested less in the “HEA” and more in the “WHA” (“What Happens After?”).

With stories set in the not-so-common worlds of breweries, on the soccer pitch, in successful real estate offices and at times in exotic locales like Istanbul, Turkey, her books are unique and told with a fresh voice. The Liz Crowe backlist has something for any reader seeking complex storylines with humor and complete casts of characters that will delight, frustrate and linger in the imagination long after the book is finished.

Don’t ever ask her for anything “like a Budweiser” or risk bodily injury.

I really liked this book. There is romance, frustration, love, and more. One of the main male characters Ryan frustrated me to no end. He keeps everything in side. No matter how many times his wife, Grace tells him she doesn't need all the trappings of their wealthy lifestyle that is all he seems to be able to give her. She just wants him and time with him, to her that means more than anything money can buy. Ryan than meets an man named Henri. He is immediately attracted to him just like he was Grace. Henri is the complete opposite of Ryan. Where Ryan keeps everything inside, Henri is open with his emotions and how he feels. Grace loves Ryan with everything she has buts she suspects he has someone else and than is proven correct when introduced to Henri. But she is wrong at the same time because Ryan doesn't want to leave her for Henri, he wants the three of them to be in a relationship together. Grace is attracted to Henri too and is willing to see how things go. After all what woman hasn't fantasized about being with two men at the same time. She quickly finds herself getting closer with Henri and falling in love with him also. Will this be enough for Ryan or will he still be looking for something else? Will they be able to have a successful relationship? Ryan had a difficult childhood and that is some of the reason he is the way he is. But by trying to be different than his father is he more like him? This book frustrated me at times. I must say I love Henri. He is open with his feelings and what he is thinking. Ryan is frustrating. He refuses to communicate or really listen to what Grace is saying. Grace just wants to know what is going on in his head and how he is feeling. Ryan thinks by buying her things he is giving her what she needs. That if he buys her enough things it will make up for the fact that he doesn't tell her anything. What for me was even more frustrating about him is that he can tell Henri things but not Grace. Grace is wonderful and loving. Her and Henri seem to make a great couple. I would love to read more about these characters. This book was wonderfully written with engaging characters. I look forward to reading other books by Liz Crowe in the future.

I love Liz Crowe! Her words jump off the page at me every time. The descriptions are fluid and make the story flow. The places and characters seem to be well thought out and they come together to make this book enthralling.  I think the storyline is both fresh and familiar. I couldn’t stop reading because I wanted to see what was going to happen next.  This couple have problems but they do not lack love, I like that a lot.  I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Steamy, hot, Raw Emotion **Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.** Grace was a single inspiring writer when she met the handsome, charming, sexy Ryan. They were destined to be together and have a life together. That is, until Ryan meets Henri. How can he be so attracted to a man? He loves his wife more than anything else but is drawn to another man. Can he have them both? Will he be able to put his work aside and live happily ever after? The very last part of this story was incredible. The story line was more intriguing and provided more detail about the story line. It kept me reading and wanting more. It was a heartwarming story between two men and a women making love work for them. Who could ask for more than that? The part about Ryan’s history was heart breaking and enraging at the same time! The author didn’t fail to include plenty of sex scenes in this book. Some were straight sex scenes and some were gay sex scenes, and some were both combined. They were written with great detail but tactfully. I personally would have preferred to have less sex and more story detail. These scenes were incredibly steamy! If you’re looking for a book that will give you lots of sex plus a sweet love story then I’d suggest this book to you. It deals with real issues such as choosing what is more important in your life and overcoming obstacles from your past.

The "Vegas Miracle" by Liz Crowe represented a couple of firsts for me, as not only this was my first taste of her work, but also my very first ménage read - male/female/male -, which I approached with hesitation as generally I am not an avid reader of erotica and romance, and do not find same sex encounters appealing. However, I will not judge a book until I have read it... so here we are... Given the nature of this novel, be warned that there are very graphic sexual scenes: m/m, f/m, m/f/m, and f/m/f. If you are prudish about any of the above, this book is not for you. However, if you are comfortable with these topics, you are in for a real treat. Liz Crowe weaves her tale using a third person narrative, to show us relevant events from the perspective of each of her three main characters. The story unfolds through a fairly wide (at least seven years) and mostly linear timeline interwoven with some extended flashbacks.  I found this technique very engaging and effective, and could easily see this work being turned into a movie which positively explores the emotional complexities and turmoil of  romantic relationships. The characters are well explored, candidly and sympathetically, as they deal with new, uncomfortable and unconventional situations.  In particular, Crowe provides us with profound insights into the cause of Ryan's behaviour and insecurities. The sex is of course very hot, frequent, daring and extremely well written - there should be something in there to satisfy anyone's fantasy. Astonishingly for me, despite my personal preferences (i.e. no interest in threesomes of any kind) and beliefs (i.e. people are inherently jealous, possessive and insecure - these are insidious traits which are bound to undermine a three way relationship), Liz Crowe not only made me believe that a ménage a trois could work, but she made it sound extremely desirable, and even preferable to a conventional relationship from an emotional point of view. As a personal point of curiosity, Liz Crowe, beside being smart and funny, also has a passion for beer and brewing (in fact she also reviews and writes non-fiction about it - check out her A2 Beer Wench and Brewing Passion blogs), and this clearly comes through in her writing.  As a fan of anything peaty, I was sold at this point:                               "I'll take a glass of Mortimer if you have it."                         It was his favourite French beer, a frothy lager with a unique flavor of peat smoked whiskey malt. As a brewing aficionado, I cannot help but love her! [ARC received from the author/publisher]

Ryan meets Grace at a party. There is an instant attraction, an intense courtship, then marriage. On the outside, they appear the perfect couple. Ryan, the powerful hotel management consultant, and Grace, a successful author who’s had her books turned into television shows. In reality, they’re drifting apart. They are madly in love with each other, but Ryan has issues communicating with Grace. Sadly, neither of them knows how to fix their problems. Ryan is sent to France to persuade celebrity chef Henri to move to Las Vegas to head up his own restaurant. There is an immediate attraction between Ryan and the chef, but he’s not comfortable giving into the strong pull. Eventually, he succumbs to Henri’s charming ways, and begins an affair. Grace has her suspicions about Ryan’s fidelity, but is terrified she might be right. Henri and his restaurant are a huge success. Ryan is in love with both Grace and Henri. He doesn’t want to lose either of them, but he’s afraid may be forced to choose. Ryan has ghosts from his past, and he wants to keep them buried. Grace wants to help her husband, but fears she may lose him to Henri. Meanwhile, Henri seems to have a connection with Grace, and she feels it, too. After an unexpected encounter, Grace finds herself falling for Henri, and he with her. This is an unconventional relationship to say the least. I thought this was a beautiful story. Liz wrote this story and the VERY HOT love scenes so well, I felt I was there with them. I felt the excitement, lust, uncertainty and pain they all went through. One minute I’m yelling at these three, the next minute, I’m rooting them on, giving them big hugs. This is a great story of love at first sight…twice. I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 5 stars.

Moving, enthralling, and breath-taking  Favorite Quotes: “He chuckled.  It sounded like honey sliding off the end of a spoon.”   “He loved her with a desperation born of a childhood full of unrequited unconditional love.”   “They parted for him, his natural aura of authority convincing them he must be late to perform heart surgery on the President.” My Review: Liz Crowe has magic.  How else can she create and churn up such deeply moving and heart gripping emotion with a few mere words.  She expertly selects all the correct and most sublime adjectives, nouns, and adverbs, and strings together in the perfect order to hold me captive while she breaks my heart, then puts it back together.  Her emotive writing is enthralling, gripping, intense, insightful, and heart clenching.  She also had other body parts clenching during her volcanically hot sensual scenes, which despite involving a taboo subject, were thrilling and rather awe-inspiring in how it seemed to be the dynamic that balanced and worked best for these complicated characters.  After reading each of her books, I am always struck by the intelligence and of her writing - the plot, the characters, and the execution are never less than superb.  I was sad to finish and leave these characters behind, but I believe I will seek out something light and frothy next, to decompress.

I found this book to be very different from other books I have read from this author. Liz tends to write books that are more "real" life than most of the romance genre out there and this one was definitely built more on the fantasy. This was probably one of the hottest and most unrealistic of her stories and I enjoyed every page.  The characters were all likable, even Ryan when he acted the fool instead of seeing what was right in front of him.  The plot was woven beautifully, and the ending was the HEA type I love.  Overall, I really enjoyed this read and will probably read it again in the future.

This was a really quick read and, just like all of Liz's books, it was extremely hot & sensual ;) Liz should be dubbed the "Queen of Erotica" because, without question, she writes some of the best scenes that I've ever read! The plot progressed nicely but with gaps, the novella covered quite a few years. I just found myself wishing that it was a full length so that, as a reader, I could get more time with Ryan, Grace & Henri. Liz always does a beautiful job writing her characters and I missed & wanted that time with them. It's always hard for me with shorter stories, I like that I can read them quick and get a good story in BUT I always want more. Ryan & Grace share a profound love but can't seem to get past the hurdles of Ryan's fears & relationship insecurities. When he refuses to open up & shuts downs, it takes the love of a third person to bring them together. The result is unconventional but, extraordinary & exactly what works for them. Vegas Miracle is a lesson in love & that sometimes, it takes stepping outside of the box to find your happiness.
