I have this wonderful book. As a Catholic and vegetarian, this book is invaluable. Dr. Roberts did extensive research and found 150 Saints, Monks, and Mystics. It would be a great book to send to our new Pope Francis! St. Francis is in this book as a vegetarian. We need to be compassionate towards God's creatures. There are many theologies floating around about our relationship with animals and someday we will be held accountable for every one. (Hebrews 4:13) Jan, Founder, God's Creatures Ministry ps. I met Dr. Roberts and she is a lovely, humble lady.
