I bought this book at a bargain at Barnes and Nobles. It is absolutely the best vegetarian cookbook! I love that all the recipes have pictures. That is important to me. I can't stand a recipe book with no pictures but this has it all and the taste of the recipes is outstanding!!

I've been a vegetarian for a few years now, however when I got this book, it was only about six months. It really helped me by expanding my knowledge on vegetarian cooking. It has detailed photos of simply any and all meals as well as one of the first sections, 'the vegetarian Pantry' which has what seems to be hundreds of different ingredients, necessary for a healthy lifestyle... anything from commonly-known items such as soymilk, tofu and most 'salad vegetables' to not-so-everyday items like Nori, Agar, Setan, and Kamut as well as an encyclopedia of several herbs, pastas, spices, teas, and much, much more... not to mention the recipies and the table of alternative nutrient sources. (vitamins, etc.) I own several veggie cookbooks and this is the real deal. It is the best I've ever owned.

This cookbook is wonderful. I have tried at least 15 - 20 of the recipes and they have all been excellent. The combinations of tastes and textures are really interesting -- my husband is not a vegetable lover and he has enjoyed every recipe that I have tried. I do wish there was nutritional information included with the recipes, but I like having the photos. I'm ordering two more copies for my vegetarian daughters so I highly recommend this cookbook.

I'm not a vegetarian...I wanted to find a cookbook that would provide me with different menu items for vegetables and this book did just that... I'm enjoying the variety...No more green beans!!

This book has some interesting vegetarian recipes that I have not seen elsewhere. My one criticism is that the recipes do not include calorie counts.
