This is one the hottest vampire erotic books I have ever read and loved every minute of it. I keep reading Tina's books and as I read each one, I keep saying "she will never top the heat in that book." Then I pick up another one and she proves me wrong, not that I mind, nope not one bit. Now fair warning you get a good storyline for a novella, but be prepared for plenty of wicked hot sex. There is anal play not only with the heroine, but also with the hero (no M/M.) You also get one scene that has voyeurism (its really hot). This relationship has some very light D/S at times and bondage and don't let me get started on the bondage scene, it was so good, I had to read it twice.
For some reason I never thought about a vampire almost dying by drowning, other ways definitely I have, but this idea was different. I loved that the heroin saved the hero it was very exciting to read. The author ties everything and everyone together making this a fantastic read. The book description is enough to be said, I don't want to spoil any of the exacting things to come.
Isabella is a strong heroine and I loved the way she would go out of her comfort zone and trust Raphael. Raphael is a excellent hero for Isabella. He is a vampire in need of companionship and he finds it with Isabella. Both together they have great compassion and passion with each other.
I recommend this book anyone that loves a quick novella with exciting hot sex and a very good storyline.

Awesome novella! Though shorter than a book, by nature, it does not lack in amazing writing. The characters have amazing chemistry, and the steamy love scenes were done very tastefully. I know some may not be able to handle explicitly written love scenes, but to me, they were always very tasteful and never too over the top. For those who are used to books in which the love scenes consist of somewhat vague description of sex, "Then he made passionate love to her.", I suggest you prepare yourself for a far more accurate and detailed description of sex scenes in this novella. Very HOT :) and kept me unable to put my Nook down!! I think there is another Venice Vampyr book coming out soon, and I will definitely be reading that one as well! Highly suggested hot, hot read!!

I Also Recommend:
This was a great novella. I would describe it as vampire erotica and it was amazingly hot! This story was full of steamy loving and one of the hottest voyeur scenes I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Tina also managed to create a love story that was believable. This book was very fast paced. A definite page turner.
I loved the heroine, Isabella. She was a strong respectable wealthy widow but a wild freak under the sheets. Raphael was a vampire in need of a hero.. literally! After Isabella saves Raphael from drowning, he feels compelled to thank her. Thank her with multiple orgasms that is.
I recommend this to all lovers of erotica, romantica, and vampires. Raphael's got a mouth that'll make you blush, and I just love a vampire with a dirty mouth!

Did you know that vampires do not float if thrown into water? They sink and that’s how Isabella, a young widow, meets Raphael, a vampire, as he is “drowning” in one of Venice’s many canals. Their attraction is immediate and their self-control is completely gone. Who would think a mere human could keep up with the sexual appetites of a powerful vampire?
Venice Vampyr by Tina Folsom is a blend of a paranormal romance, an erotic journey that will cause your eyeballs to smoke and even a little plot tossed in! Too short to fully develop her characters or much of a plot, Tina Folsom did create the erotic side of this novella to the max! If you’re the shy type, hide in the closet, wrap your eReader in a plain brown wrapper and sit back for a brief escape from reality!

This novella was smoking and sizzling. I thought my kindle was going to melt. The storyline flowed perfectly for a novella. It wasn't rushed at all. The details were just right.
The time period made this novella even better for me. I enjoyed how Tina brings historical and paranormal together in this novella. It made for an interesting and very fun story, one that kept me turning the pages till the very end and wanting more.
This novella was very erotic. I didn't feel like the story was rushed. It felt new and refreshing. I really thought the pictures in between chapters added to the story. The pictures made Tina's details pop even more.
Raphael and Isabella's story was great! The mystery and suspense kept me guessing and engrossed in this world Tina created.

The sample of this book is just one page and it's the cover. I don't know who makes the decision on what constitutes a sample but it doesn't reflect well on the author. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
