    A fantastic resource

I teach beginning through advanced ESL in Texas with many students newly arrived from Mexico. I ordered this book looking for a next-to-no-prep resource to teach reading to those who have only basic English language skills. I am very happy to say this book fit my needs to a T. The students love the stories and rip through the excercises that follow. I have to regularly tell my students to put the stories down when we're supposed to be working on something else. My only complaint would be that there aren't enough activities- the kids love them that much. I highly recommend this to anybody wanting an easy Beginning ESL reading resource.
