Meet the Author

Charlee Jacob was born and raised in Texas, now living in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She has almost 900 publishing credits for poetry and fiction, including appearances in The Darker Side, The Best of Dreams of Decadence, The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror, The Mammoth Book of New Best Horror, Deathrealm, Damned, Punktown 3: The Third Eye, The Bible of Hell, and Spooks—to name a very few.She has been on the final ballot for the Bram Stoker Award eight times in the last seven years. Her work has also received nominations for the Internation Horror Guild Award, the Rhysling Award, the Pushcart Prize, the Darrell Award, and the Alice Jackson Poetry Prize. She has published three other novels: This Symbiotic Fascination (Necro 1997, Leisure 2002), Haunter (Leisure 2003, as Soma by Delirium 2004), and Dread In The Beast (Necro 2005).

She has published three fiction collections: Dread In The Beast (Necro 1999), Up, Out Of Cities That Blow Hot And Cold (Delirium 2000), and Guises (Delirium 2002). There are six poetry collections: An Ancient Death Is The Most Beautiful (Shadowfire 1997), Flowers From A Dark Star (Dark Regions 2000), Taunting The Minotaur (Miniature Sun Press 2001), Night Unmasked (Delirium 2002), Cardinal Sins (Miniature Sun Press 2003), and The Desert (Dark Regions 2004). Her next novel, Dark Moods, has been accepted by DNA. Her next fiction collection, Geek Poems, will come out soon from Necro. Her seventh poetry collection, Sineater, will be available from Cyberpulp. She also has a stand-alone novella, Wormwood Nights, being finished up by Bloodletting Press.
