Think Buffy with a historical twist. I am not generally one for historical settings, but this was well written. The characters are quirky and likeable. I will definitely invest in the series.

She keeps you on your toes with her twist in plot. The heroine is a strong powerful women who is not afraid to go after her destiny though it's deadly. She has an iron core and a fiery passion the men in her life are drawn to.

Strange story and I like these types. It was a quick read. If you have nothing better to do but heck, it was free.

This little sneak peak is nothing compared to the series. Once I started reading this series I couldn't wait to get to the next book. I'm hoping Colleen continues to write a few more books to go with this series. My husband even started to read the series and is waiting for the next!!

She quickly glides over to the man. And kneels besides. She pulls manifests gauze and peroxide and medical tape. She pulls the daggers out one by one cleaning it with the peroxide then putting gauze on to soak th blod an keep it clean. She tapes the gauze to make sure it stays. She then gets a bottle of water and pours some to his lips. She backs up and walks back to the shadows to watch.

Very disorganized. Decent story when it was centered on an event, then suddenly started on something else. I liked the story idea and was hoping to find a cool new series to start reading. Just glad I didn't pay for this.
