My autistic son thoroughly enjoys these books. He has every year, dating back to 2003.

Great gift for movie buffs--fun to look up the details, actors, dates, etc. when you're watching a DVD !

I have most of this genre, and if I could only buy one, this would be the one. I pick this one up first, and normally it has the movie, recent or classic.

Very fun to read the summaries, ratings, year it was made in, actors, and time lengths of different movies in this book, which seems to include every single movie ever made. Helps you make the decision of if you should rent a particular movie or if you should pass it up. The book also rates how good each movie is from 0 to 4 stars (well, actually they use dog bones instead of stars), and in general I agree with a lot of their ratings, although definitely not always. Yes, this is a great book for movie buffs, but can even be a great book for non-movie buffs. I actually consider myself a non-movie buff.
