There is so much going on in this book, but it still flows well and keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens on the next page! I love Shreffler's ability to convey Crash's character with little dialogue by using lots of emotions and inner turmoil. The magic surrounding the cat's eye makes the story intriguing along with vividly described scenery.

The best part of this whole series is the imagination and creativity that went into building this world that they live in. The different races, the mythology and the world itself are so well done that you will question whether or not this is real...I questioned my own sanity once, or twice, while reading. I fell into this world, head first, and I feel like it is now a second home. If you are looking for a fast paced, exciting, and amazing read, you should definitely check out Viper's Creed!

I loved the inner-workings of this novel. Every page is written with purpose and each discovery adds richness, depth, and growth to the characters and their journey. I love the way that Shreffler builds her world. I can still picture the cities that the group stumbles through, the smells, the people, the buildings, just brilliant.

When I Started reading this book I was hooked by Sora's character and the mystery behind her necklace. You see when I first got invited for the blog tour for this book I was really excited because I also had a chance to read and review the first one. Unfortunately with all the stuff going on in my life lately I couldn't fit the first book in before I had time to read and review this one so I was a little lost on some things. However, I was really surprised that the novel was pretty self explanatory and I was able to piece together a lot of what happened in the first book by reading this one. Like I said before I really enjoyed Sora's character. She was really strong and I enjoyed that about her. In the last little while I haven't read very many YA fantasy novels mostly because none of the ones out there have really grabbed me the same way this one did. There was a strong sense of adventure, mystery and suspense and enough romance to keep me happy. Another thing that I really liked about the book was the relationship between Sora and Crash. I think that authors have been listening to reviewers voice there dislike for the dreaded insta-love plague that is infecting the literary world as of late because there was NO insta-love in this book. Crash and Sora are so damn perfect for each other I couldn't get enough of them. Crash is the strong silent type so he and Sora were the perfect balance. I loved it! I'm glad though that their relationship wasn't the whole focus of the novel because for me that wouldn't have worked out so well. This was an exciting novel with a high fly adventures. I enjoyed it tremendously and I can't wait to read book one! I highly recommend this one to fans of YA Fantasy novels! *I received a free copy in exchange for my free and honest review. I was not compensated in any way and all thoughts and opinions expressed therein are my own.

I love this series!! This is the second in the series and while it was a couple chapters shorter than the first book, it is still an awesome sequel. There isn't as much adventure as the first, but you are treated to Sora and Crash's ever-growing relationship and you are introduced to another Race, the Dracians, who imho brings in comedic relief. This book, like the first, is well written and doesn't drag on and on. You are given enough information to get a feel for where they are and who they meet without getting confused or lost. I have already purchased the third book in series!

Omg I loved this book. I love all of the books in this series. Its hard to say much without ruining the book. But I love how Crash and Sora are growing together, and that they did not stay separated for long. The flirting between them is so cute. LOVE IT.
