The attention to detail pays off; while sticking mostly to the house and Latin flavors that spiced the original volume, Cutillo unearths some magnificent pieces of chilled house. The phased trumpets and shuffled beat of Shrift's "Airlock" make it a lock for the best track here, while the sleek, horn-driven rewrite of Todd Rundgren's "I Saw the Light" by the Japanese Reggae Disco Rockers follows close behind.
