Overview

You can say I had it all. The fancy house, top of the line car, lots of friends and more money than anyone could ever imagine. On the outside, we were the perfect family. No one knew about my abusive father and my mother who drank herself into oblivion every night. My name is Karly and I have scars, deep scars that no one knows about, and when my parents died I was left alone and on my own, to fight through life with no help.

When it came to life and happiness, I had it all until my world was turned upside down. My name is Nicholas and my wife, the love of my life, left me and our new baby girl without as much as an explanation. I didn't want to accept it, but after our divorce was final and four long years passed, I started to lose hope that she'd ever come back. Emma was growing so fast and I needed help. My sister recommended that I hire her friend, Karly, as Emma's nanny. I took a chance on bringing another woman into my little girl's life. Did I do the right thing?

As many days and nights are spent together, feelings can no longer be denied and a relationship is formed.

Life is about taking chances and learning how to fall, but when the past comes back, will they be strong enough to fight through and trust each other? Or will all they worked for fall apart?

This book pulled me right in from the beginning. You can feel the pain from both Karly and Nicholas. They both have to break down walls they have built from past relationships to allow love to build and grow. Just when everything is going so good in steps Nicholas’s ex. What does she want and what will happen now that she is back? Lots of tears and laughs in this story but the ending……… I highly recommend this story!!

What happened here? I was reading and enjoying this story and did not see the plot twist coming! From the beginning, you will be hooked just like I was. Karly is the victim of the most brutal attack. The loss of her parents, both emotionally and physically, is a burden she will never get over. Rather than wallow in pity and despair, she moves on with her life, achieving some major goals. She is a survivor. Through all of this, she still relishes life and embraces each day with optimism. She is the kind of heroine I love in books! Karly and Nicholas' love story is delightful. That give and take, you know, the banter and the possibilities of those new feelings and not knowing what the other person is thinking, make their courtship all the more endearing. Once they both give in to their feelings, the pages are on fire! Now for the fly in the ointment... Jaimie. She is the burr on my side in this story. WTH!!!!! This woman walked away! I felt like I could slap her silly for being so selfish. OK, I know she is just a character in a book. But really!!! She is everything I do not want to meet in real life. Vision in Destiny will be releasing soon. I cannot wait to see how this all shakes out.

Vision of Love (Infinity #1) by S. Moose 5 out of 5 Stars                     This book begins with a traumatizing and tragic moment and ends just about the same way.  In the middle we are taken to the highest of highs and then brought crashing back down again and left with an aching need to know what happens next!   Ms. Moose does a great job of keeping the reader engaged in her characters, and by the end of the book I felt like I knew them.   I spent a good deal of the middle of the book thinking that Nicholas and Karly were too good to be true. I am angry with Nicholas now and can’t wait to see how he’s going to get himself out of this mess.  Good thing this is only the first book in this series.  I just can’t wait for the next one.  There are lots of loose ends that I can’t wait to see tied up, as well as just enjoying love through the eyes of Nicholas and Karly!   Ms. Moose has written a book that flows along nicely, and if you are looking for an engaging story with characters you can really get to know, then this book is for you!    *A complimentary copy was given in exchange for an honest review* Amanda, My Secret Book Spot

4.5 Stars Book hangover over here. WTH just happened?  My heart is broken, now I have to drive to Wilmington, find Jamie and kick her a$$, knock some sense into Nicholas and hug Karly! Can not stop crying. And don’t even get me started on Neil. Truly an engaging read! Excellent character development,  funny realistic dialogue, drama and sexual tension.  Now if I could get a HEA for these two I’d be a very happy girl!
