I'm not an avid reader. I just don't find time that often. When I do read, I want it to be worth the effort. I had never heard of this David Gregory before a friend recommended this book. This is an interesting suggestion with a bunch of strange characters. The story gets pretty strange at parts, and some of the characters make me wonder what this guy was on while writing, but it's fun. It tells a good story. It's pretty easy to read and you can get through it quickly. I haven't read anything else by David Gregory, but I'm willing to give it a chance.
This book pulls you in right off the bat with 'The big red button'. The story pulls you into this strange world where it seems just about anything can happen. It's filled with strange and interesting characters who mesh well together to take you on a fascinating, creative journey. Even the human characters are each wild and unique. At some points the author lacks some details, but it doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the story. It's a very enjoyable journey. I hope he writes more with these characters.
Wow! This author is increadibly unique and creative. A handful of young kids find themselves thrown into this crazy adventure all because of an ominous 'Red Button'. They don't know what they're doing or how they're supposed to do anything, but they're 'assisted' by one of the strangest collections of characters I've read about. It is a well woven story, and you never know what to expect next. It made me think twice about going for moonlit walks!! :)
