The text of the poem is fine and the biography is interesting, but I bought this to read to my grandchildren. We need pictures :)

This was not right. The words are spelled wrong around the story and my kids are convinced thats how you spell some of those words. I agree that this book should be proofread immediatley.

This is "THE "T'WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS" and I so enjoy that poem. One of those classics we grow up with. I was a little disappointed with this not having illustrations -- if you read with your mind you will see them anyway. Another great feature is the biography of CC Moore and how and why he wrote the poem and how it affects all of us.

For some reason, I was expecting not only the text of the poem, but illustrations as well - it's a nice purchase but I don't think I'd recommend it.

This is a history. Not a read aloud book for children, or anyone. I loved the cover picture, but I was disappointed that it was not a story with illustrations. My fault. It has interesting information.
