About the Author

Dusti D. Howell, president of SolidA, has a Ph.D. in Educational Communications and Technology and a Ph.D. minor in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Much of his research was done at Emporia State University as an Associate Professor in the Instructional Design and Technology Department. His expertise also includes innovations and research in high-tech study skills and digital learning strategies. Dusti has taught every grade level from first grade to graduate school.

Deanne K. Howell has earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also an educator with experience teaching elementary through graduate classes.

Dusti and Deanne have published numerous books and articles, and have developed a number of workshops and multimedia programs.
