Sat 31 May 2008, I bought theBook and started to listen to theCD. As I waited for theBuses and walked around I vocalized 'softly' along with theWarmUps and theWorkOuts. The Trilling, theSiren sounds, theHumming, theSighing etc. For a newb like me this is good to learn properly. TheIntroduction says: 'This book is for singers who are interested in contemporary, non-classical singing styles. It is a look at breath support, tone production, and voice strengthening, plus material for more experienced singers who want to continue to develop their voices.' I already know thePiano and Guitar and am also learning Violin, I have music notations and words already written down to sing and already I love theWarmUp tracks, Along with theBasicWorkout and Advanced Workout tracks as well. I'm glad I bought this material. However, of 44 CD Tracks, theAdvancedWorkout for HighVoices Tracks 29-35 were skipping all way through to include final Tracks 43 and 44. Maybe it's my CD playing Boombox, maybe it's my CD player but theTracks skipped on both devices. What ever you do with your Voice, it is just like working out because you have to warm up first, perform, then Cool down. Take care and don't give up on your self. samuel l flyinghorse anchorage, alaska
