Good 238 page story of three high school girls and their relationship. Some of the writing is like a lecture with lessons on morality. Good young adult book.

Vocations is a beautiful story about friendship, love and most important, finding your true self. Ms. Beck holds nothing back when it comes to fleshing out real characters who are facing difficult situations. Each girl’s story is filled with adventure, discovery and honesty. Fans of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants should read Vocations.

*WARNING: Contains vauge spoilers* Vocations is a good book about teens graduating from high school and their first year as seniors. While it is a good read it was confusing due to the fact it switched perspectives without telling you. While I would not read this book again it has a good plot and great writing. If you are not a fan of books with a bunch of conflicts with mild detail, this is not the book for you. The conflicts included bigfoot, sexual assulalt and a kid who ran away. The main conflict is in between 3 friends and is just them getting into a fight and then making up in the end. You would have a conflict then 3 months later have a differant one with no detail on the in between time.
