    Action Packed

This Christian science fiction is not written for the squeamish; rather, it's for those who love action-packed novels that read like action-packed movies. There are plenty of shots fired, explosions, people tortured, fist fights, and car chases. In fact, it begins at such an eye-blinking speed that this reader had a tough time hanging on.

Imagine God's voice print captured in molten rocks. What do the various religions and world powers do to possess the mathematical formula/technological program that will release it from those rocks? Talk about a weapon of mass destruction! Whatever you believe or don't believe, this premise will get you thinking.

Characters are believable from the eye-rolling Jazmin and her Uncle Charlie, a former Special Operations agent to Lisa, a FBI agent who refuses to go along with the flow. The author personifies Charlie's pent-up anger quite well. The setting moves from California to Switzerland to Egypt.

If you appreciate a fast-paced thriller, this one's for you.

    Great read!

Love Bill Myers, he writes great stories that are fast paced and dramatic. The characters are engaging and easy to like. Even though Bill Myers is a Christian, his books are as intriguing as James Patterson for example. Bill's books are reflect his Christianity without preaching, so even if you are not a believer you can still enjoy the story without foul language or blasphemy that is prevalent among so many great storytellers.

    this book is really

I just got done reading this book and it's supercool. It is very exciting. Being a christian I (and my parents) Have to moniter what I read. Problem is some christian books are just plain boring. But Bill Myers has done it again. It's not a very descriptive review but this book is great. I'm soooo getting the second book. But you absolutely HAVE to read this book.

The secret weapon that everyone wants can unleash the very Powers of God!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God, and the first words that God ever spoke was "Let there be light."

What would happen if people could have a way to use sound waves and vibrations from objects, the have been where God was, and develop a way to capture that on tape. They could then have the voice of God. Think of all the possibilities in life that you could benefit from if you had the same power as that of God's voice?

Not only could you speak things into creation, you could heal every type of sickness, illness, injury there ever was, you could even speak life back into people that died. You could also destroy them just as quickly.

Charlie Madison was hoping to find peace at some point in his life when he leaves the Special Forces after his wife and child were brutally murdered by assassins that wanted to take Charlie out for good. Now he finds himself thrust back into survival mode when his niece Jazmin, flees to him to rescue her. Her parents and others have discovered the voice print of God and it seems like people will do anything to make sure they are the ones to have control over it.

Charlie's Special Ops training will have to be used to find and rescue his sister and brother in law, and in the process find healing for the loss of life he feels personally responsible with his own family. Perhaps he can find a way to make amends.

I received the book, The Voice by Bill Myers, as a gift from my husband and as I am now beginning to discover on my third book from Bill Myers, he is one talented writer. The elements that he uses to take the reader along on the characters journey in the book, is action packed, fast paced and thrilling all at the same time. It's no wonder how quickly you are immersed into his stories, heart and soul, until the very last page. Bill Myers' books are not to be missed and if this one sounds like something you'd be interested in, you should check out his others. Like this book, they have all rated hands down, 5 out of 5 stars.
