This book is appropriately named given that all of the characters (other than the author and her immediate family..maybe!) had no choice whether they agreed to have any portion of the experiences they have lived voiced. This story is completely fictitious with the author's interpretation of what happened throughout the course of the time-frame covered. The first names used are the only thing REAL about any of those voiceless characters. Such a horrible disregard for the love, heroism, commitment, courage, and survival all endured while trying to heal and empower Josh in his recovery. God Bless Josh and his real friends and family who have only always wanted the best for him. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.

The author writes on an emotional level of her friends trying to grow up in circumstances they shouldn't be in in the first place. She has her own style, and it's obvious she was young when she wrote this, but that's what makes the story. It makes you want to keep reading.
