Jake sees himself as a hero, a superhero even, but he is not, he is a monster. Debbie Fuller, the one he calls The Lunatic, made him who he is. She made him into the monster he has become, by locking him into The Dark Room, and by torturing him. I am sorry to say, it would have been better, if she had killed him, but she did not. Jake is the one they call The Skeleton Man, he is on the loose.

>>There is a nice creep factor to the story and it pulls you in at the start... but then it just does not follow through. There is a lot of repetition- such as repeating info from the previous paragraph. Also, I really had issue with timelines(the horror chamber was extensive and could not have been built alone in the time frame provided).
I would love to look in on this authors work in a few years, there is some promise there. But I will skip this series.

It could be a good story if there was more story, less repetition.

If you can get beyond the rambling, it is a scary series about a serial killer.
