D'Angelo imitates no one, however: VOODOO is a statement of maturity and responsibility the blues-drenched "Send It On" is a message to his son; of mischief "Playa Playa" and "Left & Right," with Method Man and Redman; of keeping it straight "Great Day in the Morning"; and, finally, on the hot single "Untitled," of keeping it true, which D'Angelo very definitely does.

Five years after his Brown Sugar album helped launch contemporary R&B, D'Angelo finally returned with his sophomore effort, Voodoo. His soulful voice is just as sweet as it was on Brown Sugar, though D'Angelo stretches out with a varied cast of collaborators, including trumpeter Roy Hargrove and guitarist Charlie Hunter, fellow neo-soul stars Lauryn Hill and Raphael Saadiq, and hip-hop heads like DJ Premier, Method Man & Redman, and Q-Tip. It must have been difficult to match his debut and the frequent delays prove it was on his mind, but Voodoo is just as rewarding a soul album as D'Angelo's first.

    Best sex I've ever had with this CD

    I spent a romantic evening with a man who included D'Angelo with the evening's ambiance. I don't know what made that evening amazing, but the music was a major part of it.

    His music is the BOMB! It has so much feeling and meaning.

    I love Voodoo. All of the songs have different meanings. You can just lay back and just get into a groove listening to the cd.

    He is the most talented, beautiful human being, who lives up to his morals and beliefs...

    D'Angelo is amazing. Extreamly handsom and very talented. His tour concerts are amazing. He really knows how to put on a show. I LOVE YOU D'ANGELO

    came back strong

    when he wrote brown sugar i thought he out did him self but voodoo puts him on top. he went came back strong bigger better finer and built. he has the right moves. all the ladies loves, the song and the man behind the song. he has the body of a goddess. he can voodoo me anytime. i also can be his brown sugar. he gets five star from me.

    D'Angelo equals essence

    D'Angelo equals essence, H e is just wonderful and sexual and to top things off he has a voice a woman would die to wake up to every morning, I love all his songs and there's is nothing ugly about him and i hope he keeps the music flowing, When i hear him singing i just relax and enjoy the sounds, To all the women out there on a bad day or a good day sit back and enjoy the sweet sounds of D'Angelo and smile, Well Thank's D'Angelo for helping me thru the day's.

    Dangelo .... there is nothing esle to say

    Dangelo is not only fine but has the talent of 10 super stars , he can out with brown suga his frist album , i fell in love i did n't think he could top it , but then 5 years later dropped vodoo and just out did himself spiritually. He desevres all of the good things that come his way

    Smooth & Fluent Heart Catching R&B

    A man with sound that will shiver your soul, has come out with a video that every women lustfully drulls over. He is a very talented artist that I admire. Smooth with his voice and fluent with his lyrics this R&B artist is at the top my list!

    It's a keeper

    man, ladies this is a hot one!!! it was definitely worth the wait. D'Angelo came back suave and refined with his two latest tracks left and right and his very latest untitled. if you've never seen the video u dont know what your missing. i know i enjoy the sexy side of this bag of brown suga and i know that you will too.

    Voodoo puts you in a trance.

    In the tradition of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Sly Stone, D'Angelo makes great R&B music that is instantly recognizable as his own. A very personal statement by today's best male R&B artist.

    His video is perfect!

    Every woman I know enjoys this video. It's the most talked about video among the ladies. I would like to personally thank him for singing on his video nude. He took the time to get himself together, body pumping, skin smooth and looking like you can just eat him up. As a woman I feel I have good taste and speaking for all the ladies He's hot. Good choice for a video.
