Meet the Author

Diana M. Johnson, author of Destiny's Godchild, Pepin's Bastard, Quest for the Crown, Cradle of a Nation and Will & Davy, is a fourth-generation Californian and a direct descendent of Charlemagne, the great medieval king. She is a member of the Order of the Crown of Charlemagne, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and Jamestowne Society. As well, she is a Jack London Award winning member of the California Writers Club.

An accomplished flutist, private pilot, and former Beverly Hills music teacher, Diana lives in California's San Fernando Valley with her husband, Bill.
