Waiting for Dawn: A Team Hope Novella [NOOK Book]

Excellent prequel to the "Team Hope" series

"Waiting for Dawn" is the prequel to the Team Hope series by Susan May Warren. In this novella, the reader is introduced to the main characters and shown how their pasts connect. Jim Micah - a Green Beret stationed in Turkey. Lt. John Montgomery - his best friend also stationed in Turkey. Then there is Lacey Galloway, the girl who holds both of their hearts. When one of them goes missing, Lacey travels overseas to find a way to rescue him. One of these men really loves her, the other - well, you'll have to read the series for that.

I totally enjoyed this novella, although I must say I wasn't happy with the ending. But that is the purpose, right? Ms. Warren weaves these three together with action, suspense, love, faith, and more, totally drawing the reader in. I loved how Scripture and prayer were woven throughout the story. Short but intense

This book lived up to the recommendations I had received regarding this author. This novella was packed full of action, relationship and faith - much better than the first book I read by this author, Hook Line and Sinker. It was a quick read for someone who enjoys reading Christian novels, not great literature. It is enjoyable and leaves you wanting more. I will read another and hope it's more like this one!

It gave me insight to Lacey & Micah's history. Some parts were repeated in Flee the Night, but not the whole story.

A GREAT NOVELLA! WAITING FOR DAWN BY SUSAN MAY WARREN...

WAITING FOR DAWN by Susan May Warren is an interesting short e-book novella. It is a prequel to "Flee the Night" Book 1 in the "Team Hope" series.It is filled with adventure,a deadly rescue,faith,and love. It has Greeen Berets and a trip to Turkey. A fast paced story that is only the beginning for "Team Hope" and is packed full of interesting characters. A great read. Short Novella

This novella is a prequel to Flee The Night Jim Micah has loved Lacey Galloway for a decade. The day he introduced her to his best friend, John Montgomery, will always be his biggest mistake. John was always out for adventure and Lacey was like that too. As a Green Beret out on a mission, Jim and two others have been taken captive. Thoughts of ay. Lacey and remembering Psalm 86 have kept him going. Lacey figured John and her were over for eight months now when she gets the news that Jim is missing in action. She pulls strings to get to Turkey. From there John and Wild Will put a mission together with Lacey to find and rescue Micah. Lacey keeps hoping Micah will say anything to give her hope he loves her. He wants to but then John is always in the picture. Finally something happens that takes all hope away. The story does not end in this book, it only begins it seems.
