Overview

For all the months I had spent dreaming about the baby I would have, it was shattered in a brief moment. Devastated and not ready to give up, this determination, and a power greater than mine, led me to a place I had never imagined. With the help of God, it was there that I found her, waiting for me.It is my hope that others will be inspired to follow their dreams because the answers are out there just waiting for them. After months trying to conceive a child, Jodie Peyton was told by doctors that her dream was not possible. With great persistence, she and her husband desperately searched for an answer.Their journey took them over five thousand miles across the world to Russia where they discovered her dream through adoption. Waiting for Me is a personal and honest account of the pain and emotional suffering that many couples face with infertility and the adoption process. It is a remarkable story of the presence of a higher power that will inspire readers to have faith, and follow their dreams, no matter what they may be.

    One girl gets a family.

I have not read this book. But Jodie Peyton and her new daughter Blair Peyton are family friends with my family. Blair is now my really close friend. She is now 10 years old, I'm 12 years old. But Blair, Jodie, Lance and Spencer, are all friends of my family. This book, is really heart touching. Blair's real family didn't have enough family to take care of her. I am happy I know blair. She is like my sister. I wish her well. I am so glad we were neighbors in Summitville, Indiana. Now she has moved to Anderson Indiana. I have moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. My family and I still keep in touch with her. I am going to buy this book, in support of Jodie. I love you all. Blair is my best friend in the whole wide world.

Abigail Walls friend of the Peytons.

    Must have: adoption/infertility/inspirational

This is a must have for those suffering from infertility or thinking of adoption. Author tells her story honestly about her experience that led to adopting in Russia and a career in teaching. Also a great "feel good" story!
