    Great read

A lovely romance with no angst, but lots of hot sex. An entertaining afternoon read.

Tugged at heart strings but didn't sizzle.

    Review by Sabrina:
The book was cute. It starts out a little slow but the attraction is there immediately. You get a real sense of who the two characters are in this book. Yes, it is an erotica so there is A LOT of sex. TONS. At 111 pages, it borders on almost too much. But there is a difference with every scene that makes it really easy to not get bored with it. The characters are likable. I have no problem with them but they felt a little... flat. The younger one you know almost nothing about except that he is the younger brother and had a very serious infatuation with the other character at a young age. The older character has a little bit more depth with his ex that left him and he was just trying to stay busy while his broken heart healed. That was really sweet. I got it. I connected. But that didn't come until the last few pages. And all in about 5 pages. It was just a lot to take in with such a little amount of page numbers.

There was also no outside plot. This was an entirely character driven story and one that was well done. The main conflict is figuring out how this relationship will work. There was an epilogue. It showed that they were still together and were still very much in love. It was sweet. Not really an insight on how they were making it work, but with it being so touching that almost didn't matter.

In summation, it was cute. It made a tug at your heart strings. That's about it.

    Fantastic Read

    Lights, camera,...seduction!

This is my first book by Kaenar Langford and after seeing so many great reviews for her work, I couldn't wait to dive into this book. I'm glad I did. The characters stayed with me after the end of the book, keeping me up later that night thinking "I wonder what happened next". The book is written in a fast pace, but slowed in just the right places so I could savor certain scenes. It was like I was right there watching the action unfold and certainly needing a cool drink.

Although I liked the book, there were a few...quirks. This is the first instance in a m/m book where a part of the anatomy was referred to as an 'aperture'. This may not bother most people, but once I got the image of a camera winking...well, it was hard to erase it. Another thing I'd have liked was to have more conflict. Sure, there's lots of emotional conflict. I raced to the end of the book, needing to know what would happen. And yet, things seemed almost too tidy in spots. I know this is romance and I know the outcome I expect, but I just wanted to see more conflict and 'will they or won't they' moments to really up the tension.

That being said, the scenes between Vayle and Daniel are well told. No detail was left out. I especially liked the scene with the camera. Not traditional, but I think that's what was so great about it. I didn't see it coming and loved it.

If you want a book that will make you shiver with delight, then you need to read Waiting So Long. I give it four hearty cherries.
