I Also Recommend:
Even though I have not completed reading the book in it's entirety, I can already tell that the parts I have read is just a tip of the iceburg, of what is to come in the rest of the book. For me, this book should be in every home in the world as well as read by everyone. The writings is so easily understandable, that even a young child can comprehended it. Bouncing Back is one of those book that really needs to be shared in days and times like these, especially in these uncertain economic times to help you deal with the challenges in life.

Death, depression, cancer, divorce or betrayal are never easy situations to experience, let alone talk about and share with the world. Anyone experiencing such a situation or living with the memory will soon see, while reading this book, that they are not alone.
I was looking for a book that would inspire me with real life experiences of hardships that others have had to overcome in life. The stories compiled in this book moved me deeply and brought tears to my eyes several times.
These are wonderful collections of insightful and inspiring short glimpses into the lives of a variety of authors who survived their own challenges. Each life story is filled with thoughtful inspiration, encouragement, or a call to action by the reader to examine our own hardships that may be sabotaging our dreams to live a fulfilled and happy life.
Having gone through many painful struggles myself, I recognize that each of us needs as much strength and courage as we can find. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to change my life, yet I still need that constant reminder (when life gets a little uneasy) that other people have overcome greater problems than I face.
I hope this book will help you to believe in and love yourself enough to know that you will also overcome and heal from your uncomfortable journey if you so desire.
Many of the stories I read in this book stood out to me and in similar ways. At times I felt I was reading parts of my own story unfold within the pages. If I can give you one important message I gained from this book it would be to treat others with kindness and compassion. In this busy, hectic, self centered world, we overlook that each person is fighting a personal battle. It's a good reminder for me to listen more carefully to others who may be silently, yet loudly crying out for help or just provide a friendly gesture.
If you know someone who feels like life is against them, are not making wise decisions, or feels as if life is unfair and needs the courage to take control of the their life--then this is the book to wake them up. All too often we get caught up into thinking we are the only person going through struggles and that no one can relate.
Buy the book and give it to them. Who knows, maybe you will plant the seed and encourage someone to wake up and take charge to change their life. Wouldn't you want someone to do the same for you?
At the end of the book the contributing author's bio pages are listed with information such as website or email addresses- I think that is an extra bonus!
We must embrace pain and burn it as fuel for our journey. ~Kenji Miyazawa

I am one of the 50+ authors in Bouncing Back: Thriving in Changing Times and I was truly inspired by the collection of stories that are found in this book. Many authors have opened their hearts and bared their souls in order to teach, motivate and inspire those around them. These truly are changing times that we live in and I know it is the times when our backs are against the wall that we have our greatest moments.
The authors in this book have shared their greatest moments in order to help you when you find yourself in one of yours.
Enjoy, be inspired, find your greatness because like my story says, "What you do with your life matters".
