I love dream-based books, always have. Rick has an intriguing dream. How could he achieve something that would effect the whole world??? Even little ones would realize this is tough to do, so they're going to be drawn in. The story evolves, and guess what? He does it!

I also am in love with the illustrations. I love Rick looking over the dog's shoulder. Working out on blades of grass in his outdoor gym. The tank!! The report card (shame shame)!! The mouse who appears to be his biggest fan. The rollers in mom's hair. Rick's matchbox bed. The baby being pushed into Rodney's face. That the mouse now needs a cane.

I think as kids become older, their imaginations will run wild with ways they could help Rick achieve his dream. This one will become a favorite!
