    Wow!

After reading about Dr. Mee and all the wonderful work he had done I questioned whether we we seeing the right dr. For my son....and in the very next sentence he mentions Dr. Bove as being in the top 3 surgerons in the world with Dr. Mee and another. No more doubts in my mind that Dr. Bove was a perfect choice for us. Especially being at the UofM. A great read for parents or famiy of a child with CHD! Wish there were more books like this. Could not stop reading.

    outstanding

I have read the book twice. The author puts you right there to see the team of medicial professionals working as hard as they can to save these special little babies. Over 35 years ago I was one of the special babies and have lived my whole life around doctors who treat kids with bad hearts and this gave me a new outlook by showing me what the patients don't get to see. If you have CHD or have a child, grandchild or relative with it, this is a must read!!!
