This book was very sweet. Kelcey was raped as a child and fears intimacy with a man. She wants to be able to fall in love and have what her friends do. Dax is a playboy with a good heart. He wants to show kelcey how to have fun, not knowing her past. After 1 failed attempt, and a revelation, they finally show each other how to fall in love.

Reviewed by Patti Book provided by the publisher for review Review originally posted at Romancing the Book I really enjoyed reading Walking Sin. It broke my heart that Kelcey is so damaged by her past that she won’t permit any man to be physically or emotionally close enough to hurt her ever again. Her first impression of Dax is that he is a womanizing, shallow, playboy, and she immediately puts him on her list of men to avoid. Conversely, Dax is quite intrigued by Kelcey. She seems to be immune to his charms and that just goads him to prove he is worthy of her consideration. Dax is such a sweet and lovable guy that he had me in his corner from the beginning.I really liked how the character Dax handles Kelcey and her issues. His understanding, patience and maturity are so endearing. As the most free-spirited brother of the three, I was curious who was going to finally capture his heart. I had to read the first two books in the series before I could read this one and review it because I don’t like to read series out of order. I don’t know that this is absolutely necessary to enjoy the story, but it definitely made it easier to understand the dynamics of the other characters for me. I love the way all of the characters interact and how the story lines intersect. The subject matter that this story addresses is quite sensitive to deal with and I think the author does a wonderful job of balancing the seriousness without becoming wearisome. This was definitely an emotional, heart tugging experience. Ms. LaFleur’s heroes know how to treat their woman and they treat them well. The book isn’t all sex but when it is…it is hot. If you like sexy heroes with strong personalities and tender hearts this may be a series for you.

## "Maybe your looks dont kick a guy in the gut like Emma's or you dont have curves like Alaina....." that's a terrible thing to say to a woman. And they go at it right after he says that. No thanks.
