Not What I've Come To Expect From Krasskova

At a scant 34 pages, this does not qualify as a book--it is a pamphlet. That's the English side. Another 34 pages is it's translated German counterpart. I thought that the German would be side-by-side with the English. But no: it's at the front (or back?) of the book, upside down. If you're like me and only speak English, then you must read the book backwards, like some mangas. This is confusing and irritating......................................All this would be annoying yet bearable if the poetry was good. But it really isn't! Odin is a complex deity and this pamphlet--I mean book--only focuses on one aspect of him. And it makes him out to be a bloodthirsty capricious monster, while in the intro it says that he is not cruel for cruelty's sake..........................The poetry expresses plenty of negativity, but little of the ecstasy Odin is capable of inspiring. He is a God of war and sacrifice, yes, but that is not ALL that he is. Yet this is all that I found in these 34 pages. The only thing that saves this from a 1-star rating is the attractive cover. Save your money and find good devotions: online at odins-gift.com or other books by Krasskova.
